Converting Canon EOS 70D video to FCE, iMovie, FCP friendly format on Mac

Step 1: Load MOV footage

Run Brorsoft Video Converter for Mac and click “Add file” or “Add from folder” button, browse to the MOV footages and load them to the converter for conversion. You can check the “Merge into one” box to join several .mov files together.



Step 2: Choose a proper output format

a. To edit Canon MOV in Final Cut Pro smoothly, select Final Cut Pro > Apple ProRes 422 (*.mov) as the output format for Final Cut Pro 6/7/x
