No Audio from Canon/Sony/Panasonic/JVC MTS files in DaVinci Resolve 12/11-Solution

Intend to edit AVCHD footage in Resolve ? To use an MTS file from anon, Sony, JVC, Panasonic in DaVinci Resolve 12/11 on Mac OS X El Capitan , Yosemite, Mavericks and Windows 7/8/8.1/10, one has to transcode the file to DNxHD mov format. Here is how.

Converting MTS for editing in DaVinci Resolve 11/12

Step 1: Install and run MTS Converter on Mac. Drag and drop MTS videos to this software. Or you can click "Add" button to import your MTS videos to the program.



Step 2: Click format column to Choose Avid Media Composer->Avid DNxHD(*.mov) as output format for DaVinci Resolve 11.



Step 3: Tap convert button to start transcoding MTS to DNxHD for DaVinci Resolve 11.

Tip:
Adjust the video and audio parameters as the below screenshot, including the Bitrate of Video&Audio, Video Size, Sample Rate, Frame Rate, Audio Channels, etc., by clicking the "Settings" button on the main interface for getting the best quality before starting conversion .



Additional Tips:
