For the popular editing tools Pinnacle Studio 15/16/17.5, could Canon/Nikon MOV files work well with them? How can I best convert *.mov from Canon/Nikon into a nice-to-work-with format in Pinnacle Studio?

Pinnacle Studio is the easy to use video editing software to capture memories with over 1,800 effects, useful editing tools, music, titles and other content. You'll also enjoy the benefits to share movies on YouTube, web, DVD, and more.

However, many users are still puzzled by one thing that some files with MOV file extension can't be imported into Pinnacle Studio. For example:

"Hi,

I tried to import MOV file footages made by my Canon 60D, but it says that my files are not supported.
I don't know what to do!Can someone help me?"
